Search Engine Optimization

This blog has been a long time in the planning, as readers of my other blog will be able to vouch for. I have been hurriedly working on some kind of strategy for posting and tagging articles for this site.

I really want my Search Engine Optimization site to be a real success, so I have decided that in order to make my site more user friendly for my readers, I will be making good use of my categories.

I have established a list of categories that I will be writing content for. Each of the articles on this Search Engine Optimization site will fit into one or more of these categories.

It is my intention to place on the right hand side of the screen, a list of those categories, where by simply clicking on the favoured category you get a list of articles which were tagged with that category title.

My initial categories are:

Keywords.
Article writing
Updates.
Back links
Social networking.
Meta tags

From a Search Engine Optimization point of view, these tags do more than just keep the reader happy - they also advise the Search Engines of the likely keywords in use for that article. But more on this another time.
