Establishing backlinks part 2

Published by htlewis at 12:20 am under back links Edit This

In my last article (establishing back links part 1) I focused on the importance of back links. If you are not sure why back links are so valuable to a blogger or website owner then please take the time to read through that article. It is essential that everyone grasp the importance of these back links.

In this and the next few articles I want to focus on the practicalities of establishing back links. Back links form the framework of Search Engine Optimization. As such they require focus.

In terms of Search Engine Optimization, the establishing of good quality back links should be a daily routine, this is almost as important as regular posting.

So in this second article devoted to back links, I want to make one thing clear:

There is little point going to the bother of building backlinks to an empty site. If you are a blogger or site owner, you should first of all focus your attention on building your site rather than building your backlinks. Links to your site are pointless if your site is empty.

So build your content - bloggers should have 30 well written articles as a minimum before serious back linking should begin. Anything less than this and your traffic is going to bounce right off your site. Remember the golden rule - there is no point building traffic if they will never return. Keep posting, keep building… And when you are ready then you should start backlinks..
