Deep linking

There are many ways for a site owner or blogger to boost the page ranking of their site. I have already listed more than enough advice for the average site to become comfortably high on a search engine index, but comfortably high is simply not high enough!!! Every site owner or blogger wants their site to be top of the tree - and I want to help you all to get there. So here is my new top tip for today: deep linking.

Search engine optimization is all about maximizing on your site, and no where is this more evident than with deep linking.

Deep linking is the process by which you link to other articles or pages of your site on your site. This is most easily seen with the blog. If everyday you have a new article being published, then you could link to the previous article - this is deep linking.

What is the benefit?

Deep linking gives the search engines somewhere to go. The more links that a page has, the more respect a search engine will give it.

It is a simple task to link pages together and the benefits are large. Not only for page rank but page impressions and bounce rate.

Go on - link deep!
